Do you know an amazing, inspiring mother? Someone who radiates beauty from the inside out, a mother who has a giving spirit and has shown love to those around her?
As a Ventura County family photographer, I’m honored to have been accepted as an official photographer for Beauty Revived’s 50 Beautiful Mothers campaign this year.
Beauty Revived is a site built by a community of photographers with a desire to use their lens for good. Four times a year, they host a campaign with a specific subject in mind like moms, seniors, children or women. Beauty Revived was started in 2014 as a way for photographers to use their lens for good and shine light on the real beauty that is happening in our communities. In the last two years, more than 500 women, girls, and children have been featured on their website and magazine.
“As a high school senior photographer, I started Beauty Revived because I saw the power that a photographer has in shaping perception and altering dialogue on beauty,” Michelle Gifford, Beauty Revived founder, said.
“The photographers who participate in our campaigns not only have great technical and artistic talent but also have big hearts and a desire to be more than just a picture taker. They want to be a photographer who changes the world with their work,” Gifford said.
This will be my second campaign with Beauty Revived. I had such an amazing experience last fall photographing and sharing the story of a local teacher who is near and dear to my heart.
I will be accepting nominations now through February 28th. The nominee must reside in Ventura County, CA. I will then choose one mother who will receive a complimentary session with Brandi Corriveau Photography and will be featured in the Beauty Revived magazine and blog! The mother chosen will be an example of real beauty and will have shown her beauty by her service when weary, grace in defeat, and kindness when tried. Help us challenge the way the world sees beauty! Please nominate a ‘Beautiful Mother’ now by filling out the form below!
